Zinoleesky sparks record label rumour

In the wake of the turmoil following the passing of his colleague Mohbad, Nigerian musician Zinoleesky seems to have started his own Record label company.

Just days after Mohbad’s unexpected death, Zinoleesky, whose US tour was recently canceled by the concert promoter, appears to have left Marlian Music for his own record company.

Recall that on Tuesday, September 12, unexplained circumstances led to the death of Mohbad, a 27-year-old musician who was formerly signed to Marlian Music.

As a result of his passing, there has been a significant uproar on social media, with many criticizing his former label mate Naira Marley for reportedly exposing him to constant bullying.

Along with canceling his songs and record label, Naira Marley’s social media followers began to be removed in bulk.

Additionally, Zinoleesky received criticism for being silent while Mohbad was being mistreated by Naira Marley and his associate Sam Larry.

Zinoleesky’s Instagram bio did not mention any record labels until Mohbad’s passing. However, the 27-year-old singer has updated his biography to include “Zinonymous Sounds”

See his IG bio below, both before and after Mohbad’s passing.
