Ghanaian Dancehall musician Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr., widely recognized as Shatta Wale, expresses his utmost remorse in life for not being able to pursue a career in the legal field. Despite his remarkable achievements as a highly acclaimed musician, the self-proclaimed “African Dancehall King” admits that he still harbors a sense of dissatisfaction.

My biggest regret in life is that I didn’t become a lawyer,” Shatta Wale said in a recent interview with Stefania Okereke of the BBC

He went on to add that, although he is still considering it, he intends to hire legal counsel “once I have earned enough money.” He made it apparent that he intended to pursue a career in law, despite his current level of notoriety as a musician.

Additionally, Shatta Wale mentioned that he perceives himself as a “nice guy,” even though he acknowledges that not everyone sees him that way.
