Everyone wondered why Korede Bello, the buzzing crooner of “God Win,” left Mavin Records at the height of his career. He has come out to explain why he fizzled out of the scene in a recent interview, as he accused Don Jazzy’s record label, Mavin Records, of making him feel like a product used to make money.
The musician revealed that at a time in his thriving career, he lost track of his “why,” he disconnected from the reason he started doing what he’s doing with music, and he badly needed to retreat and find his inner worth.
All of these disturbing feelings started finding roots in his soul amidst the fame because Don Jazzy’s management made him feel less than his actual worth. They made him feel like a mere product to be sold.
It was all about chasing the next hit and running around in circles. Away from the spotlight and fans, Korede Bello hated every minute of this craze for money because he was fast losing sight of what mattered to him.
He was being driven like a bulldog to chase after the next song and chase after the next hit single. The reason for this hurried drive for success was to get his name into relevant conversations so he could continue to top the musical charts and remain on top.

Alas, this wasn’t what he signed up for.
Music to him wasn’t all about money. It wasn’t all about connections and hit songs. So, he did what he should have done a long time ago.
He left Mavin Records and never looked back.
He distanced himself from Don Jazzy and his crew because he needed to conduct some deep introspections to understand himself again and reconnect with his original reason for doing music. Watch the video where he said it all below:
