David Adeleke, better known as Davido, a well-known figure within the Nigerian music scene in a recent interview as caused a stir when he offered to fly an interviewer named Amelia to Lagos on his personal aircraft.
At the just finished MTV Music Video Awards (VMA) hosted at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, Davido generously extended this opportunity to Amelia.
Amelia, who served as the event’s pink carpet emcee, spoke with Davido about his experience attending the prestigious awards ceremony. She admitted that she had never traveled to Lagos, Nigeria, during the interview.
The DMW chairman offered to transport her on a private aircraft, saying it would only take 10 hours to get from the US to Lagos State.
Amelia expressed her delight over never having been in a private plane before. Davido informed her that he would send his aircraft to transport her to Lagos in response.
She amusingly inquired as to whether his aircraft has a jacuzzi, to which Davido replied negatively but added that there is a shower.
Social media users have reacted to the interview in a variety of ways, with many expressing their opinions about what might happen if Amelia accepts the offer.
