Top 3 Movies Coming to Netflix This October

There’s a fresh new set of movies served up across various genres, to keep us entertained throughout the course of October. Here they are:

Inside Life

Clarence Peters directs this suspenseful movie as it takes viewers into the harsh jungles of Lagos prison, to experience first-hand the stories of unfortunate individuals holed up there.

The series contains a star-studded cast with the likes of Jide Kosoko, Scarlet Gomez, Zack Orji, Gabriel Afolayan, and new acts such as Meg Otanwa and Jigan Babaoja.

Inside Life touches on the unpredictable nature of the life of those locked up behind bars, as well as the dynamic scheming for survival, greed, and power.

Some of the most relatable characters in the series are a man who lives on the edge of desperation, a completely devoted sister, and an ambitious woman who’ll stop at nothing to get what she wants.

Hijack’93

This hijack movie would be the first of its kind in Nollywood, as the plot offers a breath of fresh air from the regular storylines we’re used to seeing.

Hijack’93 is based on the true life story of four young men who hijacked an airplane in 1993 to protest against the annulled election of June 12, 1993. They boarded the plane as regular passengers and suddenly hijacked it with nothing but guts and a toy gun.

Holding 34 travelers hostage for three days, including the Vice President of China at the time, they requested that MKO Abiola be sworn in as president or they’ll set the plane on fire.

The movie promises to be a great retelling of a rich story hidden in the annals of Nigerian history.

Love Is Blind

Love Is Blind is coming back to Netflix for its 7th season, as new singles will make their way towards the pod to take a chance at finding real love and building meaningful relationships.

These singles are ready to approach the dating scene without the prejudice of judgments that often blind their sense of perception.

Final Thoughts

These movies are sure to keep you glued to your screens in the coming month. Love Is Blind made a great new addition to the franchise called “Love Is Blind: Habibi.”

It’s tailored towards the Arab world and would see the famous couple, Khaled Saqr and Elham Ali, as hosts of the show, as they take Arab singles through a search for love and marital commitment.
