The late Mohbad’s body was successfully excavated, according to the Lagos State Police Command’s public information officer Benjamin Hundeyin, who tweeted about it today, September 21, 2023, using his official account. He also noted that an autopsy will be conducted on the body in order to determine the cause of his demise.
The public has subsequently reacted favorably to the announcement, which is intended to bring justice to Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, also known as Mohbad.
As seen in numerous videos posted by onlookers, the cops pulled up to the graveyard and removed the coffin from the grave after disassembling it. The video evidence shows the empty grave and the celebration that followed.
On September 12, 2023, Mohbad unexpectedly departed away, surprising Nigerians at home and abroad and causing anguish among his fans and the entertainment industry. The late singer’s father, Joseph Aloba, claims that in accordance with Yoruba tradition, he was buried the day after he passed away.
In Yoruba land, his corpse is not the kind to be kept when both of his parents are still alive, that land where Mohbad was buried is his only land, that is the only land I know him to have owned,” he said
