Seun Kuti revealed in a tell-all interview that most Nigerian celebrities and famous personalities are secretly afraid of Verydarkman because the girls they sexually abused might report them to him.
Right from the beginning, Seun has never hidden his love for the campaign that Verydarkman does in righting the wrongs of society, no matter whose ox is gored.
The Grammy nominee revealed that one of the reasons he likes Verydarkman is because he has the ability to do what others, especially him, cannot do.
Going on to explain what he meant, Seun said that if he tries calling out anyone for their wrongdoing, he’ll be labelled a hater because of the cult-like cliques some of his fellow musicians have formed between themselves.
And it is for that reason he rather avoids personal squabbles in the music industry and instead confront only issues of national concern that can move the country forward.
It was at this part in the interview that he dropped the bombshell.
In his words, “Every day I hear people complaining, girls especially that have been molested, raped, pushed around by many of these artistes. Trust me, because VDM is around, he’s protecting a lot of women.”
He went on to say that our celebrities, famous people, and rich people, secretly nurse the fear at the back of their minds that if they do something as bizarre as abusing a girl, the girl would report the incident to VDM.
To back up his claims, Seun Kuti revealed that he had evidence of some girls who had been molested by these musicians and celebrities. Watch the interview where he said all these and more below:
