The UK supermodel, Naomi Campbell, was made a charity trustee with huge amounts of funds for the relief of disabled and underprivileged persons. Campbell squandered tons of money for luxurious spa treatments and cigarettes. She has subsequently been banned as a charity trustee, and she has claimed to be ignorant of the squandering.
Being made a United Kingdom charity trustee, Naomi Campbell denies knowing that the funds under her watch were misused in booking luxurious spa treatments and enjoying an exotic array of cigarettes.
All of this ugly development came to light when a UK watchdog was set up to create an inquiry into the charity’s expenses from April 2016 to July 2022. They made an astonishing discovery that only a meager 8.5% of funds raised were spent on grants to the charity.
All eyes were turned on the charity trustees of which Naomi Campbell was among. After further digging, the UK charity organization managed to recover the amount of £345,000 from the clutches of its suspicious trustees. Naomi Campbell has now been banned for five years along with two other trustees, making her incapable of having any engagement with the charity organization for that period.

Everyone was curious to hear what the supermodel had to say in self-defense. Campbell has come out to clear the air, saying that she never knew such an amount of money was misused under her nose.
She put the blame on the legal lawyer handling the charity funds entrusted to her care, insinuating that the legal lawyer was the one who went on those luxurious spas and pleasurable investments in cigarettes, not her.
In her words, “I just found out today about the findings, and I am extremely concerned. And we are investigating on our side, as I was not in control of my charity. I put the control in the hands of a legal lawyer. And so we are investigating to find out what and how. As everything I do and every penny I ever raised goes towards charities.”
