The American rapper, Lil Durk, has just revealed the reason why he shuns any form of friendship with other rappers and musicians in the music industry, even when he featured some of them like J.Cole in his recent hit song, “All My Life.”
He cannot seem to wrap his head around why fellow rappers fail to stand for each other privately and publicly. And getting into the industry, he has seen first-hand how the musicians only care about you if you’re on the music charts, or you offer them huge money for features.
Fans have been wondering about his perceived seclusion from other heavyweights in the music industry, and Lil Durk has finally come out to clear the air on why he distances himself from fellow rappers and musicians alike.

He is seen as a lone wolf who just reaches out to artistes he needs on his tracks, talks business only, and then retreats into his introverted shell pending another hit single. With the explanation he gave on his X platform, fans of Lil Durk now better understand their fave and his disposition towards these top artistes.
Lil Durk didn’t mince words when he emphatically took to his social media handle to drop the bombshell on why he hates fraternizing with fellow rappers.
He said, “The industry fake, stop trying to be friends and just get money, and then stay with who you locked in with…free the world.”
Mentioning how the industry is fake even when he featured admirable rappers like J. Cole is a bit troublesome. Just take a look at what Lil Durk tweeted for yourself:
The industry fake stop trying to be friends and just get money and stay with who you locked in with …. Free the world
