Happie Boys are said to be facing deportation to Nigeria as they have been living in Cyprus without legal permission.

Kelechi and Johnson, known as the Happie Boys, are facing deportation from Northern Cyprus following their imprisonment for unlawful residency. Recent reports indicate that they have been detained, although the reason for their arrest remains unknown.

The Happie Boys were previously employed as bodyguards for Chicken Republic, but were dismissed for dancing while on duty. They were subsequently granted a scholarship to study in Northern Cyprus by Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, the General Overseer of Omega Power Ministry.

However, a disagreement with the Apostle led to the termination of their sponsorship, and they were unable to renew their student visa, resulting in their withdrawal from their studies. Subsequently, they encountered a problem that required police intervention, and it was discovered that they were residing illegally as dropouts.

The Happie Boys are likely to receive a prison sentence of three months to one year before being deported to Nigeria and prohibited from returning to Northern Cyprus.
