Online users have been sharing a video of Davido’s quick reaction at Mohbad’s memorial service when he believed someone in the crowd was trying to put something on his head.
On Thursday, September 21, a candlelight parade and tribute night were conducted at Muri Okunola Park in Lagos in memory of the late artist. The well-known Nigerian singer, who traveled from abroad to attend the occasion, was one of the famous people that took part.
Davido was part of the crowd during the calm stroll even though his bodyguard was closely watching him, one of his crew members once took off his bucket hat and put it on the singer’s head to shield him from the sun.
Davido flinched and yanked the hat off his head, obviously assuming it was some random individual trying to put something unusual on his head. He put the hat back on after recognizing that it was one of his crew members.
The video has produced a flurry of responses on social media, many of which express the singer’s worry for his safety.
