Amaju Pinnick, former president of the NFF and a member of the FIFA Organising Committee, publicly criticized Nigerian music sensation Davido for not performing at his event “Warri Again” despite being paid $94,600. Pinnick expressed his disappointment in a viral video. He mentioned that he had paid a large amount for Davido’s appearance and even arranged a chartered plane for him. Pinnick was upset that Davido ignored Warri after receiving such a big payment. He also compared Davido unfavorably to Burna Boy and accused him of having a big ego. Pinnick mentioned that Shallipopi took Davido’s place as the main attraction.
