Opeyemi Famakin, a social media food critic, left a bad review of Cubana Chiefpriest’s restaurant, only to come out crying to the public that Chiefpriest sent him a private threat message. He has asked everyone to hold Chiefpriest if he doesn’t make it out alive. Now, Cubana Chiefpriest has responded to his allegation.
You would recall that Famakin previously visited a restaurant Cubana Chiefpriest opened for his son, had his meal, and made a video describing his experience with the food there as a terrible one.
Chiefpriest left two messages on his social media post. One was a nice public comment and the other was a vengeful DM that rattled the food critic, causing him to publicly accuse Cubana Chiefpriest of trying to take his life. Read all about it here:
Cubana Chiefpriest has responded to this by revealing that Famakin told his staff to microwave a burger for him, only to turn around to complain about the microwaved burger.
Here’s what he replied to the food critic:
“You asked them to microwave the burger for you. Stood there and waited for them to do it. Then you turn around to sit down to use it for content. Cloutina!”
Cubana Chiefpriest wasn’t done yet, he continued, saying:
“If you don’t like your burger microwaved, then why did you not stop them? Rather, you stood there to shoot the rest of your content as you waited for them to heat up the burger as you requested.”
Chiefpriest revealed that he thought Opeyemi Famakin’s review was coming from a place of honesty, so he went to query his staff, only for them to tell him that the food critic directed them to microwave his burger, with video evidence.
In his words, “Thought his review was honest and I appreciated it. Then went to blast my staff, only for them to tell me he asked them to do so and backed it up with videos. Just be real, bro. We all make mistakes and take corrections but not with this style. Everything no be content. If e easy, you too try open where you go cook make we come review.”
