Popular cross-dresser and social media influencer, Bobrisky, was reportedly arrested this morning at the Seme Border for attempting to escape to the Benin Republic. This arrest comes as the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) intensifies its investigation into allegations of bribery and money laundering against him.
Martins Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan, broke the news on social media, claiming that Bobrisky was apprehended while trying to evade ongoing inquiries linked to his legal troubles. According to VDM, Bobrisky had allegedly hidden in his car and sent someone to help him sign his international passport. He challenged Bobrisky to go live on Instagram if he wanted to dispute these claims—a challenge that remained unanswered for over 5 hours.
This incident follows a difficult week for Bobrisky, who is still trying to cope with the fallout of a leaked audio recording. In this recording, he claimed that Femi Falana, a prominent lawyer, attempted to extort N10 million from him in exchange for securing a presidential pardon. Bobrisky has refused to apologize for these allegations and instead shifted blame onto VDM for disseminating what he calls an AI-generated video.
