The mother of the late Nigerian artist Mohbad has said that she withheld her status as his mother out of concern for her safety.
In a recent interview with TVC, she talked about their relationship in the midst of the controversy surrounding claims that she abandoned the singer and his sister for 15 years, yet she is the one getting condolence letters and visits from dignitaries while the father who raised him is coming under fire.
Her son took fantastic care of her and always wanted her around, she said, adding that they lived together for ten days prior to his untimely death.
