A Nigerian man has expressed his frustration after being repeatedly mistaken for controversial Lagos socialite, Sam Larry.
Sam Larry has recently faced severe criticism on social media after being captured on tape bullying and harassing the late Mohbad. Mohbad, who passed away on Tuesday, September 12.
Many Nigerians have placed a target on his back and called on the Nigerian authorities to fish him out and arrest him.
The Oba of Elegushi and the Eletu family have also dissociated themself from the socialite due to the bad press surrounding him.
As a result of this his look alike posted a statement online claiming that he is not Sam Larry and pleading with people to quit mistaking him for the gangster.
He further disclosed that because he frequently encounters strange looks in public, he has been forced to carry his ID card with him as identification.
He described a situation in which some musicians visited his studio to record songs and continued giving him the suspicious look because they thought he was Sam Larry.
DJ Spyce, a friend of his, posted the disclaimer video and stated,
Public Notice……….. My friend/ Colleague is being mistaken for Sam Larry,he is not even related to him at all. My Niiga is scared and it’s not even funny at all E jor make una leave Ay alone o.”
