An old video of deceased singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, recounting his ordeal and how he was betrayed by his colleague, Zinoleesky, has resurfaced.
In the throwback video, the late singer was on a hospital bed as he tearfully narrated how he was accused of taking drugs and made to ingest a white substance.
Speaking in Yoruba, the singer explained that he had tried to protect his colleague, Zinoleesky, during the attack, but it was Zinoleesky himself who snitched on him.
In his remarks,
“They stated that I was always on drugs, and I’ve always trusted them with my heart, which is why they were able to do all of this to me. I was made to drink a substance that I knew nothing about, but every other person wasn’t given that drink. Even after a gunshot hit my skull, I was trying to save Zinoleesky! The same Zinoleesky has now turned on me and cheated on me! I cannot lie against them because Heavenly Father is a witness for me.
The late musician is thought to have been alluding to the incident in February 2022 when he and his friend Zinoleesky were detained by NDLEA agents after their home in Lagos’ Idado neighborhood was searched.
