Temmie Ovwasa, former signee to the popular YBNL records talks about her time with the label, in series of post she gave reasons for quiting the label .

The murder of the artist Mohbad, who had accused his label head Naira Marley of attacking him when he tried to leave the label, served as the catalyst for her admission.

Temmie went into great depth on her Instagram story about her time as a YBNL signee, her experiences there, and her reasons for leaving.

Remember when Temmie, a.k.a. YBNL Princess, secured a record deal with YBNL Nation in August 2015 but quit the company in 2020 after getting into a fight with Olamide, the label’s head?

The former YBNL signee claimed that although her boss treated her well in public, after five years of collaboration, she only had four songs to her credit.

Because the label lacked a functioning framework, she also described how his wife regularly treated her poorly and spoke down to her in front of others.
