After numerous recordings of Lagos socialite Sam Larry bullying and assaulting Mohbad surfaced online, he has said to have deactivated his Instagram page.
On September 13, numerous videos of Sam Larry, a close friend and colleague of the singer Naira Marley, intimidating and making Mohbad’s life miserable were posted online.
This comes after the unexpected demise of the 27-year-old singer, who passed away on Tuesday from an undetermined cause. On Wednesday, the brilliant musician was buried in Ikorodu amid many tears.
After his funeral, internet users circulated recordings showing the musician being cruelly treated by Sam Larry and other goons in Lagos.
While Mohbad and Zlatan Ibile were filming a music video, Sam Larry is seen in one of the tapes attacking Mohbad.
Another video footage showed Mohbad sobbing after Sam Larry assaulted him in a Lagos bar, revealing that Sam Larry had taken his phone. Another footage revealed the artist to have numerous bruises around his body from physical assault.
Social media users were outraged by this, and they descended on Sam Larry’s Instagram page to denounce him for harassing the singer before his untimely death. On other social media sites, his name has also been trending.
The Nigerian socialite appears to have had enough of the attention because he has deleted his Instagram account. It’s unclear though if he temporarily deactivated it or erased his account entirely.
