According to a birth certificate that The Blast was able to secure, the parents have given their infant son the name Riot Rose Mayers.
A month after the birth of their second child, famous singer Rihanna and her lover, rapper A$AP Rocky, have revealed the child’s name.
The Blast was able to secure a copy of the birth certificate for the boy, which lists Riot Rose Mayers as the name of the infant.
The infant was born on August 1st at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, according to the certificate.
The 34-year-old rapper and the 35-year-old singer-turned-beauty mogul appear to have made it a practice to give their offspring names that begin with the letter “R.”
In honor of RZA, the leader of the Wu-Tang Clan, their first child, born in May 2022, was given the name RZA Athelston Mayers.
Their decision to name their child “Riot” may be a nod to A$AP Rocky’s most recent song, which was released in July and features Pharrell Williams.
Recall that Rihanna revealed her second pregnancy at the 2023 Super Bowl halftime show in February after being spotted on stage stroking her stomach, which led to rumors that she was carrying twins.
The couple’s son was born last month, and after the news broke, insiders told Entertainment Tonight that the new parents planned to “spend the early days of parenthood out of the public eye” and “won’t make any immediate plans to debut the new baby.”
