3 Celebs Who Denied Wizkid Amid His Rant, Including His Former Boy, Mr Eazi

Wizkid did the unthinkable the other day by insulting Davido for almost a full day. This action has elicited a wide range of reactions from fans and celebrities alike. Now, three celebrities have come out to disassociate themselves from Wizkid, including his former protege, Mr Eazi.

Davido has yet to respond to all the abuses that the “Essence” crooner meted out to him on X for almost a whole day. Seems like he left everything in the hands of his passionate fans.

Tunde Ednut

Tunde Ednut could no longer stand Wizkid’s insults when he directed his jabs at Davido’s uncle, Governor Adeleke.

Wizkid had rubbished the way Governor Adeleke dances in public, saying that the Adeleke family has no home training because no one would see his uncle dancing online that way.

This tweet didn’t sit down well with Tunde Ednut, who accused Wizkid of having no respect for taking a swipe at Davido’s elderly uncle. He also questioned the reason why Wizkid FC, the fanbase of Starboy, still supports his online rants. See what he said below:

Paulo Okoye

Music executive, Paulo Okoye, isn’t having any of this as he condemns Wizkid’s action as shameful. Watching Wizkid spend the major chunk of the day abusing Davido left a sour taste in the mouth of Paulo, as he urged both Wizkid and Davido to stop the insults.

Fearing that Wizkid isn’t thinking this through, or he’s typing those tweets under the ecstasy of smoking, Paulo questioned the singer on why he’ll say something that he’ll regret in 20 years, all for views and fans.

He implied that it all wasn’t worth it because he doesn’t know any of these fans personally. See what he wrote below:

Mr Eazi

Wizkid had Mr Eazi as a protege in his imprint record label, Starboy Entertainment, around 2016.

Though Mr Eazi later opened up that he wasn’t actually signed, but was merely in business with the Starboy record label, it was evident that Wizkid promoted the works of Mr Eazi and introduced him to a larger fanbase than he could have gotten as an independent artiste.

Fast forward to 2024.

Seeing his former boss ruin his legacy by leaving a long trail of unprovoked rants to Davido, Mr Eazi had to deny that he ever had Wizkid as a boss.

A fan asked him on X, “You no go support your oga?”

Mr Eazi quickly proceeded to disassociate himself from Wizkid by saying, “My only oga na JESUS Christ. See his tweet below:
