Police have examined the body of an exhumed 17-year-old body boy who was killed by a pastor in his room and quickly buried in a shallow grave before anyone could find out. How did anyone or the police manage to know exactly what the pastor did? Find out now.
35-year-old Pastor Anthony Israel of the Jesus Disciples Assembly Church was believed to have killed a teenager who finished writing his WAEC and was preparing to write JAMB, AbdulRahman Olugbade, secretly and buried him in his room.
The 17-year-old boy was the son of the Pastor’s landlady, Mrs Temitope Olugbade, a kind woman who gave the clergy a room for free. The incident was said to have taken place on Monday 2nd September, at Jesus Assembly Street, Omoguwa Area of Ejigbo.
Police only got to know that the pastor killed and covered the boy’s body in a shallow grave in his room when the landlady’s dog started barking strangely at the grave spot. The younger brother of the deceased suspected something was up after he fruitlessly searched for his brother for some time.
So, he moved towards the room where the dog stood barking and discovered that the area had been tampered with. Quickly, he raised an alarm which attracted the entire neighborhood. They dug out the body and quickly sent it to the police.

Upon analyzing the exhumed body, it was discovered that the throat of the 17-year-old boy was slit open. Pastor Israel had long fled the scene of crime by this time, but he was unaware that his little secret was now out.
He came back the next day and was apprehended by the angry neighbors who almost lynched him if not for the intervention of the police.
Pastor Israel confessed that he slit open the throat of the boy when he was sleeping and buried him in his room so no one could find out.
The mother of the deceased was still in complete shock over the sudden unfolding of events as she narrated how she gave Pastor Israel a room to stay in because he said he had an accommodation problem.
The pastor was detained at Ejigbo Police Division and neighbors and members of the church were gathered outside discussing in hushed voices to know the outcome of the story. They were very surprised and pained as they described the deceased boy as a quiet and hardworking boy for his age.
