“I Recorded All My Hit Songs While Sitting Down” – Wizkid Leaks How He Created ‘Soco,’ ‘Holla At Your Boy’

Everyone has always wanted to know how Wizkid came up with monster hits such as “Soco,” “Ojuelegba,” and “Holla At Your Boy,” amongst others. The “Essence” crooner has dropped the surprising revelation that he recorded all of those songs while sitting down, without stressing himself.

Wizkid is one musician who doesn’t believe in overworking to get desired results, especially in creating great songs. He perfectly voiced out this disposition in his hit single, “No Stress.”

Having been the face and sound of afrobeat for over a decade and conquering the international scene with a Grammy award to his name, Wizkid revealed that he assumes a seated position when it’s time to record his songs.

“All my biggest songs from ‘Holla At Your Boy’ to ‘Soco,’ ‘Joro,’ ‘Ojuelegba,’ I recorded all of them sitting down,” Wizkid said with a relaxed air of satisfaction.

That wasn’t the only thing he revealed, as he also let everyone know that his aversion for stress also flows into doing promotions and granting press interviews.

In his words, “You see promo, I hate doing that sh*t, you know the press, I hate doing all that shit, bro.”
