This would sound imperative and would be seen as a follow up post to the previous post which I made about the growth of Mavins/Jonzing records top act Divine Ikubor popularly known as Rema. Scrolling up the entertainment dailies today, was me getting notified about an EP of popular act Korede Bello, which was recently dropped some months ago. I was then in a rush to ask my self this very question, “Where is Korede Bello ? .
Coming through the ever growing Nigerian music scene Korede Bello made a stand still of himself into the Mavins record family in 2014, and with a follow up top banger titled “God win” in 2015. The sensational singer who was regarded as one of the industry finest, Koredebello had one of those top level smile and was popularly regarded as every ones favourite, infact he started a movement known as the “Bellovers movement” a replica to the Justin Bieber’s “Beliebers“. Going back memory lane he introduced a new sound which was titled “Mungo Park” in 2016 and after this period, there was a dip in form of this said artist.
In 2017 he made a good impression of him self by dropping a very, very interesting song which he featured the then Mavins first lady “Tiwasavage” , the song was titled “Romantic” , which as at that period had an impeccable description on many peoples playlist and was number one on most Nigerian music chart . Since 2017 , up to this date the singer as been a shadow of himself with no concrete hit song or feature song of any form . So two questions comes to mind
what led to the dip in form of koredebello and does he still have a contract with the Mavins family .
