Anita Brown, an American woman who supposedly came out and told the public about her relationship with Nigerian pop star Davido, has apologized to Chioma Adeleke, the wife of Nigerian singer Davido. Anita had previously made disrespectful comments about Chioma on social media, suggesting that Chioma had undergone plastic surgery that didn’t turn out well. She also implied that Davido wouldn’t have married Chioma if they hadn’t lost their son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, in a tragic swimming pool accident in October 2022. Anita had released a song advocating for Chioma’s freedom from what she called a “toxic situation.” However, she has now expressed remorse and apologized to Chioma. Anita mentioned that she is currently going through a difficult time but didn’t provide further details. She also acknowledged that losing a child and being hurt by someone’s partner is a terrible experience
Anita wrote,
“I am going through a traumatic & tragic time in my life. I honestly don’t want to speak on it & don’t need to, or have to speak on it. It’s too much to bear right now. Im disquieted by all of the events that have taken place. The only thing i will say is i regret that i let my pain and feelings of betrayal allow me to turn me against another woman. So, i apologize to Chioma. / never intended to speak on you or your child. Losing is never a good feeling, being hurt by someone you love and care about is not a good feeling.
Moving forward I would prefer to be known for the light i bring into the world.
